Network Marketing Pro Springtime is Here At Last
Well it’s official spring is finally here, I say finally because it seems to have been a long , cold and wet winter here in Crete even though we get off lightly compared to our neighbours a little further north in south east Europe.
It’s just that all the houses her on our island are geared up for sunshine so everything just seems so cold and damp during the winter. We do get some great days in amongst though as you can see from my post here:
Anyway time to move on, it’s spring, the birds are singing and we should all be feeling that burst of spring energy that will drive us forward into the rest of the year.
Some cool things that happened this week:
I got an unexpected cheque from “Clickbank’ – don’t you just love it when that happens!I was featured in the Submit Your Article newsletter with my video on the mountain with my new mug - That is great exposure and gets me noticed! Jane got accepted into a poetry workshop over at Hania in a couple of weeks time. – So proud of you my love!
Some of my content is now ranking on the first page of Google for targeted keywords. – Love it when that happens too.Finally! I got my whole content marketing process, the actual steps I take with each piece of content I write, down on a spreadsheet. – This helps me no end to keep track of exactly where I am in the process, and it is a process that works! – Nothing gets missed and nothing gets duplicated.
So that’s it for today folks, it’s Saturday morning here in Crete and I am off to do some work on a house just down the road, a renovation job that got a little behind with the bad weather we have been having here in Crete. – Did I tell you I love my house renovating business as well!

Forum Marketing has declined somewhat in popularity recently, largely because of the Google panda updates, but these mainly hit those folks who where creating forum profiles en mass, usually with the aid of some sort of auto submitter. This does not mean that forum marketing is no longer a viable lead generation technique, it certainly is. Even if the back-linking benefits of using forums has declined somewhat!

Let’s start with the basics and a few solid forum marketing tips that will no doubt help you become more effective with this powerful promotional method.
An obvious tip that many ignore is to post comments in threads that are being viewed by a lot of forum members. This is the main reason why some forum marketers do good and others see terrible results. Marketing comes down to numbers, and forum marketing is one of them; so, focus on getting in front of the most viewers as possible and you’ll do fine. High trafficked forum topics can lead to much more exposure than those that don’t get many viewers to them.
Grab the limelight for yourself by starting a popular thread. For example, on Forum A, they are taking about the best way to lose weight, then you can go to forum B and ask is X method the best way to lose 20 lbs. Basically, if you want the best results then focus on threads that are getting the most attention.
You shouldn’t see a forum as just another website, but a social gathering or a place where likeminded people hang out. What you take the time to build, today, can serve you much more powerfully tomorrow – that is called leverage.
There will be times when people are rude or impolite, etc. You should understand that all the forum members are human beings just like you, and you need to respect them and try to look at things from their point of view.
If you just maintain your own integrity, then people will learn what you’re like and it’s just good for your business relationships. When your reputation is established and solid, then you’ll be in a position to participate in Joint Venture partnerships, perhaps.
And that is to make sure you put in the extra effort into your forum signature to make it attractive and click worthy. If you’re not familiar with writing ads, then take a look at the signatures of members who have been there for a while; see how they do their signatures.
Write your signatures so they spark curiosity to know more and make people want to click on your link. You can really have good results with forum marketing, but the key is to give to the community and people will respond in a positive manner.
How well you do with forums is entirely up to you, but if you have the patience then it can be well worth it.

How Do You Use Internet Article Marketing
IfI had a nice surprise the other day when I went to our local post office in Neapoli as there was a parcel waiting for me. I had no idea what it could be as I wasn’t expecting anything, and it turned out to be a mug from my favourite article submission company Submit Your Articles.
I was so surprised that on the following Sunday high on the mountains of Crete I shot a short video to say thanks!
Well let’s define why we use internet article marketing in the first place.
To get eyeballs to our content and traffic to our site.For the purpose of getting back-links to our site for SEO purposes so we rise in the search engine rankings.
Now first off let me say that all article marketing will get us back-links to our sites but not all internet article marketing will get people to read our content. So we have some article directories that have active readers looking our content and other directories that hardly ever get visitors – both however give us back-links to our site.
The reason I use Submit Your Article is because they submit a higher quality article to most of the top article directories, like Ezine Articles and Go Articles, as and also to their own blog publishing network, and because of their unique article leverage system all articles are unique.
It is a service I use regularly and their own in house article directory gets me hundreds of views to each and every article I put in for submission.
For me it’s a win, win situation and a very important part of my internet article marketing mix, I do use other services as well as I believe in getting as many views and back-links from as many different sources as possible.

I was fortunate enough to attend a webinar a few days ago, for our Champions Challenge group and Diane was the guest speaker and here are just a few of the things she talked about:
What I liked about Diane was the fact that she doesn’t mince words at all and she told us that the reason she got into network marketing in the first place was because she was broke, and if most of us are honest that is why we started in this industry as well! In fact most of the very successful people in network marketing started out broke and worked hard to create a better life for themselves.
Diane’s basic message was that anyone can do this, no matter what your circumstances. You just have to make the decision to do it – make the decision to change your life – do it!
If you are not going to do it now – then when! You have to be accountable, you are the only one that can change your circumstances so just decide to do it!
Don’t be a parrot.
What Diane means with this phrase ‘don’t be a parrot’ is simply don’t just copy everyone else, don’t try and be like other marketers be yourself. We are all unique and by being ourselves instead of modelling ourselves on others we connect with certain people who will feel an affinity towards us. This is attraction marketing, if you have a particular point of view, then air it, dare to stand out from the crowd and get noticed!
Using Video.
Video is very important but don’t be frightened of it, there is no need for any fancy intros or anything like that, of course if you want to do these that is fine, but for heavens sake don’t think you have to. Just be yourself, be natural and speak in your normal voice, don’t act because folk will see right through that. Sincerity will win every time!
Now 3 very important points when using video:
You need to be relevant! When linking your video to your site for goodness sake make sure that the content on your site matches the content on your video – very important!When making your video remember that you are only talking to one person, only one person at a time will ever watch you video so talk to them as though you were having a conversation.Never diminish yourself on your video, it is so easy to say you are struggling blah..blah, when it is always better to say how you overcame something. If you are struggling with something, find the solution and then make a video about that. This is what sets you up as a leader!

Super Mind Power An Essential Ingredient For Success

How often have you heard the phrase, use it or lose it? When we say this we are usually talking about our bodies and especially certain parts of our bodies as we get older, LOL, but it is especially true when referring to our own super mind power.
Maintaining active mental abilities is one thing, but there’s also the goal of achieving super mind power in order to really drive our success. So we should be looking at improving our bodies and our minds, and that way we can run at peak efficiency. By applying a few simple actions we can accomplish both goals and it is so easy anyone can do them.
Something as simple as doing a crossword puzzle, working out puzzles or playing a trivia game can help the brain grow new neurons. Try using your computer mouse with your other hand, this really connects the pathway between both sides of our brain, wow did I just say super mind power!!
